About WYAC Advisory Committee

Debra Hibbard, a PSD Deputy Administrator, is a strong supporter of the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council (WYAC). She is deeply committed to the success of WYAC and its mission to empower and uplift youth across Wyoming, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities needed to thrive.

Brian DeTavernier is a Social Services Analyst with the Department of Family Services at the Social Services Division. He believes in the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council (WYAC) and is committed to helping it grow into the face of Wyoming for foster youth, empowering them to become leaders and make a lasting, positive impact in their communities.

Sara Serelson, a Field Operations Administrator with the Wyoming Department of Family Services, strongly believes in the mission of the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council (WYAC). She envisions WYAC growing to become the face of Wyoming for foster youth, empowering young people and ensuring they have the support and resources needed to thrive.

Nicole Neider, the Executive Director of the Wyoming Children's Trust Fund and Prevent Child Abuse, believes in the mission of the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council (WYAC) and is committed to supporting its success.

Bryan Cook, CEO of the Wyoming Children's Society, believes in the mission of the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council (WYAC). He is committed to supporting WYAC's growth and ensuring it remains a vital resource for youth, continuing its impact for generations to come.

Liz Davis, an Independent Living Coordinator in Casper, believes in the mission of the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council (WYAC) to empower and support youth in our community. WYAC is committed to fostering leadership and making a positive impact through various programs and resources that help young people develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in life.

Tamara Candelaria, a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for Cheyenne and Laramie, believes in the mission of the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council (WYAC) and is committed to its success. She envisions WYAC growing to become a prominent and influential face for Wyoming, championing the empowerment and support of youth in our community.

Kandice Schmitz is a DFS Social Services Supervisor in Albany County. She believes in the mission of the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council (WYAC) and is actively making changes in the Laramie, WY office to support and advance our efforts.

 Brenda Birkle, the Executive Director of the Wyoming Citizen Review Panel, is dedicated to supporting the mission and success of the Wyoming Youth Advisory Council (WYAC). Previously, she served as the Executive Director of My Front Door and now serves as an advisor on the WYAC Advisory Committee.
